Balıkesir Electromechanical Industry Facilities Inc., founded in 1966, has set a world record with its 310 MVA arc furnace transformer produced by blending local engineering work and labor with years of accumulated experience. The transformer, which is rapidly advancing in the international competition journey of BEST, is 6.1 meters wide, 7.8 meters long, 7.25 meters high and weighs a total of 300 tons. The transportation of this giant transformer, which was carried on 32 axles and 128 wheels, was carried out by 30 personnel. The transformer was entirely produced with domestic capital by BEST Inc. The giant transformer produced by BEST will be used by İçdaş Steel Energy.
